To Love

Somewhere deep inside
  there is a longing
  to be loved
There is a wish
  to love another
  to my fullest ability
I cannot decide
  who I fall in love with
I do not always know
  why I fall for who I do
  or why some are passing
    while others are here to stay

Somewhere deep inside
  there is a child
  who is afraid to be alone

I Love
I know no other way
  to live
I value love above life
  for what is a life
  if it has no love
But too
  what is love
  if there is no life
  so they are nearly
  one and the same
When I love
  I love with all my heart
  I love with all my soul
  I love with all I am
  I know no other way
    than this
When I love
  I love with a passion
  beyond my years
As too do I live
  with the passion of life
  and all it has to offer
I cannot control
  my passion of life
  my passion in love
All or none
  that's how I live
  there is no half-way
    in what I deem important

A love denied
  is a life of pain
  of wishes and dreams
    that will never come true
  of hope lost
    refound and crushed
  of emotional hurt
    torn and rejected
Yet unable to leave
  for love is too strong
  and Hope again blooms
And patience takes over
  waiting for returned feelings
  knowing the torment will pass
  and believing in the power of Love
