I Am Ready

Deep in my soul
I have a longing
For what, I do not know
I am not sure

A longing for Happiness
For Friendship and Love
For peace within myself
For dreams that wishes make true

I long for another
To share my life with
To give my Love to
To receive the Love from

Some are scared of commitment
Some see it as a curse
Some can not handle what it means
  How it takes away small freedoms
Some are simply not ready
Some may never be
I feel none of these
I instead long for it

I am tired of being alone

I wish for the Love

  Supporting and Strong

I will take the chance
  of lies and fear
  of pain and hurt
  death and destruction
For the one I believe in so much

I am ready to commit

I am ready for bonds
For bonds of Friendship
  Trust and Love
For a lack of Freedom

An end to the Loneliness
  That has haunted me always
A beginning of a Life
